Started reading Starless Night early this morning, and I only have about 30 pages left to go...and I may go to the library again tomorrow to get another book.

I'm currently working on Kissed by an Angel, but the last book I completed was City of Bones in The Mortal Instruments trilogy. Very, very good book and definitely better than Twilight.

Why don't you tell me how you feel about me?
When someone you love abandons you, it doesn't hurt just because they've changed or lied or went back on their promises, but because you know what they really are and what a beautiful person they can be. They take that away from you and won't let you see that beautiful person again. Nothing hurts more than having someone just decide to take your entire world away without consulting you first.

Started reading Star Wars: Abyss today, and I am about 70 pages in so far. Possibly the best book in this series so far!

Almost done w/ my 2nd run through Brisingr, the 3rd Eragon book (3rd in the Inheritance series). Most definitely the best and most epic of the ones so far released. Paolini knows how a dragon is supposed to be. Badass motherfucker.

I'm currently reading Dearly Devoted Dexter, the second installment in the Dexter series by Jeff Lindsay. So far, while it's entertaining and the character of Dexter is great as always, I'm finding it slightly inferior to the first novel. The storyline feels more contrived and isn't nearly as well-written or captivating. I still really need to watch through the Dexter TV series though, I haven't seen past the first episode but I'd really like to since I'm a big fan of the books.

Other than that, I've been reading a few comic books/graphic novels here and there. Read through Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, which my co-worker loaned me.

I'm reading through Breakfast of Champions, which I'm really enjoying. It has Vonnegut's trademark wit and humorous writing style that I adore so much. I've also been reading some short stories by Edgar Allan Poe and some manga on the side.

About halfway through Order 66 by Karen Traviss, the 4th book in the SW Republic Commando series. Quite excellent, damn good read.

If any of you out there played the game (for Xbox anc PC) SW: Republic Commando, you NEED to read these books (Hard Contact, Triple Zero, True Colors, Order 66). Absolute must.

Reading Gerald's Game by Stephen King. I was wanting to read more Stephen King, and I'd heard interesting things about this one, so I decided to check it out. It's pretty good so far, it's a real psychological type of horror.

Finished reading Star Wars - Tatooine Ghost this morning, and it's definitely one of the best Star Wars related books that I have read to date.
